Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 - All Star Cup
The WiFi tournament, the All Star Cup, has been fully detailed by the official site. Like we reported before, this tournament is open only to Black 2 & White 2 users and has you participate in Double Battles and use any of the Pokémon in the new Unova Pokédex from Victini to Genesect, with no Pokémon restrictions. Registration for this tournament opens on September 14th and lasts until September 20th while the tournament itself runs from September 21st to September 23rd. Like The Beginning Cup, it is seperated into three divisions based on your age; Junior, Senior & Master with 50,000 places.Unique to this cup is a special present. If you register for the tournament, you will be given the rare Micle Berry which is yet to be available in Generation V. You get given it in the Dream World so you can breed at will.

Pokédex 3D - Update
For those of you with Pokédex 3D in all international areas, the final update has gone live. This update makes all Pokémon downloadable, restarting it if you stopped receiving Pokémon and allowing access to the special Exclusives. It also unlocks the six Pokémon only accessible by scanning their AR Marker. Do note that SpotPass will only remain active for this game until January 31st so you have a limited time to receive the Pokémon if you have no intent of getting Pokédex 3D Pro on its release on November 8th..In The Games Department:
Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 - Kyurem PokéDolls
For those with the Japanese games, a new Pokémon Doll promotion has been announced. This promotion is the third in a monthly promotion that gives Mythical and Legendary Pokémon Dolls and gives a special Black Kyurem and White Kyurem doll for your Dream Home. American magazine, Nintendo Power, has revealed another new localisation detail for Pokémon Black 2 & White 2. It has revealed that the areas dotted around in trees across Unova, Hidden Hollows, are to be called Hidden Grotto. Pokémon Cameo in new GameFreak Game
The new Nintendo Direct conference, held by Satoru Iwata, has revealed Junichi Masuda and GameFreak's brand new game, Rhythm Hunter: HarmoKnight. Normally, this wouldn't warrant a post but this game, coming in Japan this September, is a 2D platformer where you have to go through levels collecting items and defeating enemies to the beat. It's worthy of note that there is a special Pokémon level within it, where the standard battle theme plays as you go through a level with Reshiram & Zekrom in the background. Nothing else Pokémon based seems to be within this game so we won't be covering the gameSeems there are other Pokémon based levels within the game with the classic Pokémon Gym music in the background.

For those of you in America,the Keldeo event is now running in Gamestop stores across the country, or EB Games if you're in Canada. This event gives a Level 15 Keldeo with a PP Max to Pokémon Black & White games. In Black & White, you can teach it Secret Sword if you take Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion with it to the Moors of Icirrus, but if you wait until Black 2 & White 2 are out and trade it over, you can activate its Resolute Form by teaching this move. The event lasts until October 6th so be sure to get it while you canAs a reminder, this event runs in Europe from September 1st to October 11th, in various stores such as GAME in the UK and various other stores depending on the country. Be sure to check your local store to see if they're participating. In Australia, it runs from September 15th to October 10th in EBGames stores.

Pokémon Typing Adventure Localisations
The first English language screenshots have been revealed and have shown some various details. First, as expected, due to the different layout of the keyboard that comes with it, the levels have been reorganised based on the keyboard. This varies depending on each part of Europe as they each have different keyboards. We'll provide alternate course listings for each area as we get the game. In addition to this, it has confirmed that due to Backslash moving, it has taken the functionality from the Function button in the Japanese one and is known as Backslash Basics. In addition to this, it seems the main courses remain the same, with Emolga's Tall Forest being called E Tall Forest in English. We'll provide more as it comes.

site, confirming the names of Ordinary Form and Resolute Form that were shown on

For those with the Japanese games, the new C-Gear has been announced. This
C-Gear is running with the Beginning Cup WiFi tournament and is based on the
Pokémon World Championships and runs from August 20th 2012 to September 25th
2012 so be sure to get it.In addition to that, the Beginning Cup is now open for registration and will be open until Thursday night JST. The tournament will then go live straight after. This tournament is Black 2 & White 2 only, and only Pokémon within the Unova Dex.

With the new issue of a TV Guide, we have 2 new title for some episodes. The first episode features the appearance of the Seigaiha City Gym Leader, Marlon as they meet a trainer who is to challenge him and is due to air September 13th. The second episode, due to air on September 20th features a disagreement in the Pokémon Nursery School, and Cilan is there to try and calm it.

Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced in the second generation. t flies so silently through the dark on its four wings that it may not be noticed even when nearby. The development of wings on its legs enables it to fly fast but also makes it tough to stop and rest. The transformation of its legs into wings made it better at flying, but more clumsy at walking. A Pokémon that gained vastly enhanced flying performance by having its legs turn into wings. Having four wings enables it to fly faster and more quietly. It turns active when the night comes. Over the course of evolution, its hind legs turned into wings. By alternately resting its front and rear wings, it can fly all day without having to stop So here it is, the eighty-fifth entry, Crobat.

Following a long tradition of special Pokémon themed consoles, a new special edition 3DS LL (known as 3DS XL in the west) has been announced for Japan. This special edition console features a special Pikachu decal and is known as Pikachu Yellow which covers the outside while the inside is white. It will cost 18,900 yen and only be sold in Pokémon Centre stores across Japan. Like all 3DSs, it will feature a region lock for 3DS and DSi games. Click the below image for a larger view.

Following on from the Strongest Pokémon in Doubles giveaway back in June, a new event has been announced for Japan where they will give away the "Strongest Pokémon" in regards to Single Battles. This Pokémon will be Level 100 and will be determined by the most commonly used Pokémon on the Global Battle Union. The Pokémon will be distributed from September 15th 2012 to October 28th 2012. Pokémon Typing Adventure - European Details
The release date for the upcoming game; Pokémon Typing Adventure, has been revealed. This game is coming to Europe on September 21st 2012 and comes with an English language keyboard via Bluetooth. Some localisation details have also been revealed with the professor being called Professor Quentin Werty and his assistant is known as Paige Down. We'll provide more details on changes in localisation as the game's launch approaches. In the meantime, check our section detailing the Japanese version.

The latest set based upon the games; Pokémon Black & White is released th week and SkittyOnWailord has kindly scanned his collection from the pre-release this past weekend. Not all cards have images yet, but we'll add them as soon as we can. This set features a variety of cards from the Japanese Dragon Blade & Dragon Blast sets in Japan. As such, I have added them to the database. I have updated the CardDex with the cards from these sets.

The fifth and final WiFi Event for Pokémon Conquest is now live for America and Europe. This WiFi event allows for the download of the Hideyoshi & Reshiram event, which unlocks the Pokémon Reshiram for you to link with, in the post-game, if you have the Warlord Hideyoshi. This event, like the others, runs until December 31st 2012, giving you plenty of time to get it.

This cup is known as the All Star Cup and will run in September. This cup is different from all the previous WiFi tournaments in that it has no restrictions on Pokémon. It is said to allow for all Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex, specifically pointing out that this is the first time that Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect have been used in a WiFi tournament. As the fifth generation of games doesn't allow for easy checking during trades, and even then, it can be hard to see whether or not the Pokémon you received is at a lower level than is actually possible. To that end, with thanks to TTEchidna for bringing the concept to me, I have created a new section of the site which lists all of the Pokémon and what level they can be in each of the 31 different types of PokéBall and how to get them at that level, so that you can confirm that they have legitimately been sent. For those with the non-Japanese games, currently live only in Australia but will likely go live in most areas at 13:00 today, a new C-Gear has gone live. This C-Gear is to tie in with the World Championships this weekend and features Pikachu holding a special Pikachu Tiki torch. We currently don't have the password for this C-Gear, but it should be posted later today. This C-Gear will be available from today until September 6th so there is only a limited time to get it.

For you players in the European, the Keldeo event has been announced. This event will be distributed in the UK in GAME and Gamestation stores from September 1st 2012 to October 11th 2012 for Pokémon Black & White. This comes after the official reveal of Keldeo on August 20th on the official website. Like the US event, it is very likely that the details of this event will match the recent Japanese event which means it'll activate Keldeo's Resolute Form when sent to Black 2 & White 2. It has also been announced for the other areas of Europe over the same time, but specific stores haven't been announced. We'll bring more as it comes.
